Marketing Project Coordinator

Objective: 


To ensure and oversee that all Marketing projects and tasks are completed by the defined due date. Analyze the success of projects, based on defined objectives. With the assistance of internal and external teams, administer the program around Shamir's brand development. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities: 


Work with the Project Manager to define scope of large and small-scale projects 
Oversee the planning, implementation and completion of all Marketing projects 
Create detailed Schedule/Plan identifying the tasks needed to successfully achieve project success and deadlines. 
Work with the Project Manager to develop Budget for large-scale projects 
Report progress of projects to the Project Manager on a weekly basis 
Works with Marketing team and, if needed, other departments to ensure all tasks associated with Marketing Projects are completed on time 
Meet with Marketing team weekly to discuss and provide updates on progress of all Marketing Projects 
Measure and report performance of all large-scale marketing projects, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) 
Evaluate effectiveness of large-scale projects after "Go Live" and suggest recommendations to improve/meet defined program objectives 
Monitor consumer trends, research consumer markets and competitors' activities to identify key opportunities and concerns. 
Brainstorm new and innovative brand growth strategies with internal and external teams 
Brainstorm and develop ideas with the Marketing team for creative marketing campaigns 
Assist in marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.) 
Work with external vendors to order specialty promotional and merchandising items 
Collaborate with marketing department and other professionals to coordinate marketing efforts and brand development 
Assume individual tasks of a Marketing Project, as assigned 
Assist with any additional Marketing duties and/or tasks as needed to help support the department and ensure project deadlines are met. 

 

Experience: 


2 to 3 years project planning/management experience 
Consumer Brand experience preferred 
Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role 
Thorough understanding of marketing elements 
Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools 
Solid computer skills, including MS Office, Adobe Creative and Project Management software (Robohead by Aquent is a plus) 
Well-organized and detail oriented with a creative mind 
Exceptional communication and writing skills 
BS/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent
