Finance Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Finance Coordinator represents the accounting and RCPV department as the liaison who handles all inquiries related to financial processes, including Company rebate programs. He/she will interface with customers referred to as Eye Care Professionals, account executives and/or sales management.  

 

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Log and track incoming sales reports from laboratories. 
  • Assist in auditing reports from laboratories and requesting additional information if needed. 
  • Handles all ECP and AE’s inquires by phone or email. Financial Coordinator shall communicate to the appropriate parties, respond and follow up within a timely manner.
  • Provides training and support to customer platform as needed (RCPV) 
  • Perform filing and general mailing as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate COGS records.
  • Maintain SLX database and Priority with all payee and ECP information as relates to RCPV and other rebate programs.
  • Assist in maintaining accuracy/parallel of all systems – SLX, Website and Priority.
  • Provide Enrollment forms to ECP’s.
  • Process enrollments of new ECP’s and update records as needed.
  • Monitor and submit to accounts payable W-9 information.
  • Monitor accuracy of SLX calculation of claim payments.
  • Runs appropriate department reports from SLX.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service setting or accounting background
  • New accounting graduate also preferred.
  • High level attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple software applications.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs (specifically Excel, Outlook and Word)
  • Ability to quickly assess current issues and formulate a response/resolution using analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment with deadlines and prioritize and organize work.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Must be comfortable explaining ideas to computer illiterate users.
