I tried my first pair of Autograph lenses. From the moment I put them on, I experienced the closest thing to optical perfection. I have tried other premium PAL, Even those lens, had it's problems (esp. weight). Special thanks to Ken at Pech Optical for allowing me to try the Autograph, as well as adhering to strict tolerances when finishing this lens. The Autograph is OPTICAL GENIUS !! This is the best vision I have ever achieved with a progressive lens. The Autograph is a breakthrough in Progressive Lens Technology. THE END OF OPTICAL MEDIOCRITY!!!
Kudos to the technical staff at Shamir. This is an amazing lens!!! It's the secret to the independent O.D.'s success.

| As an OD, I come across many different lenses each day. I've put my father in various lenses, but none seemed to work for him, until I fit him for Shamir's Creation lens. Within 20 seconds he noticed a significant difference; he sees great out of the lenses and in his own words, he "loves them!" I want to be able to offer my patients a lens that will benefit them the most, and nothing stands out more than the Creation lens. It's satisfying to know that when I fit a patient in these lenses, after using different ones, they will experience a positive and comfortable change. |

I sell more PALs in my practice than traditional multi-focal designs and had been loyal to another premium progressive lens company for quite some time. My Shamir rep Scott came in and told me about the Autograph lens and helped me to better understand its unique design and features. He also encouraged me to try the Genesis and Piccolo. I told him I would commit for one month to trying the Shamir family of progressive lenses.
I'm so glad I did! I had an 89 year old lady with a strong desire to try PALs at the urging of her daughter. She had 2.25 diopters of cylinder and was a +3.00 add power. I strongly suggested that she try the Autograph and she agreed. When she picked them up she had absolutely no issues with adapting and really seemed to love her new eyewear. I decided to follow up with her a few days later and her only complaint - she could see her wrinkles too well! She absolutely loved her new lenses and said she couldn't believe she lived with lines in her lenses as long as she did. My concern was peripheral distortion and a narrow reading area, but when asked about those issues she said she wasn't noticing any problems or distortions at all. She loves her lenses!
I guess the lesson here is you can "teach an old dog new tricks". After being educated about the Shamir products and excellent technology behind them, I now recommend Shamir PALs to my patients and have been more than pleased with the results our practice has experienced.

Shamir Creation: My New Favorite!
Had this engineer come in and order bifocals, then call 5 days later and wants a progressive because his doctor told him he had to have it - this guy has never worn anything BUT ft bifocals.
He is something like a +4.50 -2.25 cyl with a +2.50 add.
Oh - and he couldn't pick them up, we had to mail them out of state. No chance to adjust or fit or train or anything.
We'd never tried the Creation but after the dog-and-pony our rep just gave us we decided to throw it to the lions and see what happened.
Oh well - this was a refund in the making, right?
Well, guess what: The guy actually liked them! Called to thank us! Said he put them on and that was it!

| I am a dispenser in an ophthalmology practice. I had been hearing how great the Creation is from my rep, that I decided to have my mother-in-law give them a try. My mother-in-law is a very active, 74 year old woman, has never worn progressives, a high plus and she wears a lined trifocal. I was a little nervous about having her try them at first. When I placed them on her, she looked around at first and then at the reading card. She said, "I can see everything! Why haven't you put me in these before now?" I knew then these were the lenses I should be dispensing. She adapted to Creation almost immediately. I will be fitting Creation from this momment forward! |

WOW, what a great lens the new Creation is. I have tried other progressives from other competitors but this lens is the one that as soon as I put on my glasses there was sharpness and clarity from all angles of the lens. We have become a big seller of the lens and our patients are raving about it as well. Thanks Shamir, and keep up the great job!

I am an optician:
It gives me confidence when you know that there is a lens out there that fits the needs of your patients. I have always had great confidence putting our patients in the Shamir lenses, Genesis and Piccolo. When I first learned that we were being asked to upgrade Genesis patients to Creation I was more than a little wary. They told me the new Creation lenses were closer to normal eyesight. I could not believe the difference in the lenses. The optics of the lenses was so sharp and clear, and I didn't notice any aberration to the sides of the lenses. I am very impressed with the lenses and will definitely be switching patients to the lenses. I believe in putting patients in the best lenses for their eyes. Creation is definitely the top lens on the market.

I am not a person who likes to wear my eyewear to work. I have a fairly high hyperopic correction and didn't feel comfortable in progressive lenses that I had worn before.
When my Shamir rep came in and offered me a voucher for Creation I thought I would try the lenses but only wear them at home. I was very surprised with the result. I had great clear vision in the distance and the distortion that had bothered me in other lenses was greatly reduced. Probably the most amazing thing was that I was actually so fond of the lenses that I am wearing them to work and am very comfortable in them.
We have begun fitting them on patients with equally impressive results.

My patient says about his new Creation lenses:"I had gotten so accustomed to being virtually "blind" from my old scratched up, poorly made pair that I didn't even realize what I was missing. The new specs are great and I have fully adjusted to my new way of seeing. I noticed that my clarity and focus, when looking through the far left and far right sides of the distance portion of the lenses has improved dramatically over my old lenses. Previously, when looking anywhere except through the center portion of my lenses, I experienced a distinct blurring and loss of focus during "side viewing." Based on what I was told from my former optician when I puchased my old glasses in 2000, I assumed that this lack of peripheral vision was a common and expected deficiency in lens manaufacturing due to my extreme far sightedness and astigmatism. This is not the case with these new lenses, and it reminds me that with most things in life, you get what you pay for.

| I had used mainly non-Shamir products in the past and decided to try the new Shamir Creation lens voucher that Jerry Korkisch, my Account Executive from Shamir, had given me on my Father. He had been wearing a different brand name PAL lens and was satisfied with his lenses, but I encouraged him to try this newer, more advanced technology lens and also I got him a new frame. When he first tried on his new Creation lenses, he was silent for the first few minutes. Then he said that everything was so clear and sharp that he felt like he was not wearing glasses at all. He has since told me that these Creation lenses have changed his life! |
