EyePoint Technology® is our patented lens design software that was created by our Mensa-like scientists. This software is pretty intense, combining lens surface topography data with highly advanced mathematical algorithms. We utilize EyePoint Technology® because we know that in order to get the most precise optical measurements, it cannot be assumed that the optical power of the lens alone is the same that the eye “sees” through the lens. You know what happens when you assume things, right? You don’t get an optically precise lens.
Since we know this, we use EyePoint Technology® to simulate exactly how the human eye will see through the lens and then calculate the optical performance of thousands of locations covering the lens surface.
