Since Shamir is in the business of ReCreating Perfect Vision®, our engineers discovered a new method of producing semifinished progressive lenses from digital molds – Freeform Optics™. With this new process, we can now provide up to six times more resolution than standard cast PALs. We’ve produced a nice picture, which you can see below – the little boxes simulate pixels, like a high definition television – the more pixels the better (ours is is the lens with more pixels, of course)

A patient with a sphere power of -1.50 diopters wearing a standard PAL would be fitted in a Base 5, but if they were wearing Shamir Creation® they would be fitted in a Base 3 – AMAZING!
